Submitting Files via FTP
This guide will help you:
Choose an FTP Client
On Windows — You're using Windows, right? If not, click here to show more instructions — you can use the built-in FTP client. From the start menu, select "Run" and type "explorer".
If you prefer to use third-party FTP software, many clients for Windows are free to download:
On Mac OS X — You're on a Mac, right? If not, click here to show more instructions — you will need to download a third party FTP client. Some of the options available include:
Connect to CORE
In Windows File Explorer (right-click on the start menu and click "explore"), type ftp://upload:cpc2006@upload.corecomm.us into the address bar and click “Go”
Entering host information in Windows File Explorer
On Mac OS X or if you're using a third-party client on Windows, enter the following connection information:
Entering host information in Fugu
| Server | upload.corecomm.us |
| Username | upload |
| Password | cpc2006 |
Submit your Files
Once you have connected successfully to CORE, open the folder ("Print" or "Web") that corresponds to your project. You can upload files by dragging and dropping them into the folder in your FTP client window.
Please don't forget to:
- Label your files clearly. We receive dozens of files a day, and clear labels helps us relate your file to a project.
- Compress files. Folders that contain multiple items must be compressed and saved in a single self-extracting file using either WinZip or Aladdin Stuffit. For example, CoffeeShop_Brochure.sit, or CandyStore_Website.zip.
